Order Management (OMS)

The Order Management System (OMS) is the CliqMenu mobile app that powers your day-to-day order handling and kitchen operations. Whether you're running a food truck, a pop-up stall, or a small restaurant, OMS is where orders come in, get prepared, and go out to your customers.

Where to Get It

OMS is available as a free download on both major mobile platforms:

info

You don't need to create an account yourself. The business owner invites you through the Business Management System (BMS), and you log in with the email they used to invite you.

Two Modes, Two Roles

OMS supports two distinct modes, each designed for a specific role in your team:

Order Manager View

The full-featured mode for Order Managers. You can accept incoming orders, set prep times, manage stock availability, process refunds, create walk-in orders, and move orders through every stage of the lifecycle.

Kitchen Display System (KDS)

A streamlined, read-heavy mode for Kitchen Staff. The KDS shows the order queue and the items that need to be prepared. Kitchen staff mark items as done — no order acceptance, no payment handling, no distractions.

What You Can Do with OMS

Here's a quick summary of what the app covers, with links to detailed guides:

  • Getting Started — Download, log in, and find your way around the main screen.
  • Order Lifecycle — Accept orders, move them through stages, cancel, and process refunds.
  • Stock Management — Update item availability in real-time so customers always see accurate menus.
  • Truck Menu Overrides — Adjust pricing and customization availability per truck without changing the master menu.
  • Kitchen Display — Use the simplified KDS mode to manage cooking progress.

Who Uses OMS?

OMS is used by two types of team members, both invited by the business owner through BMS:
